Our Story
Women and Minority Engineering Programs (WMEP) in the College of Engineering work to increase recruitment, retention and graduation rates of those served; support outreach and recruiting; create a collaborative environment; and undertake initiatives to establish partnerships with alumni and industry. Ultimately, WMEP helps support a student body representing the broad demographics of the state of North Carolina and a collaborative and welcoming environment for all students by providing community building and engagement, research opportunities, academic assistance and professional development opportunities.
Your support will help us continue to make these opportunities available.
This year, the first 100 alumni first-time donors will each unlock a $100 bonus to the first College of Engineering area they give to, from Dean Pfaendtner's $10,000 fund.
