All Day Challenges

#GivingPack Hashtag Match Challenge — All day 3/24/21 until 600 tweets are hit and the $6,000 threshold is reached.

You’ve been resilient, but it hasn’t been easy. There are still so many unknowns ahead, yet one thing’s for sure — the Wolfpack will always have each other’s backs.

We know there are members of our Wolfpack who are struggling. And we also know there are members of our Pack who want to help. Your participation in this social media challenge will make a financial impact without requiring a separate donation.

Here’s all you have to do:

Tell us something you love about NC State — why you chose it, a favorite memory, a shout-out to a friend, your favorite campus spot, etc. — and tweet using the hashtag #GivingPack. Mention the college, program or fund of your choice in the post, and $10 will automatically be given to that area in your honor! It’s that easy.

RULES:

  • Keep your entries positive to be eligible for this challenge. Focus on the good and help spread positivity on Day of Giving.
  • Limit five tweets per account.
  • Colleges and units are not eligible to participate in this challenge. Tweets must come from personal accounts.
  • This is a Twitter-only challenge.

NOTE: If this challenge still has funds while other social media challenges are happening, entries into those will count towards this one, too, meaning that entries into the social media challenges outlined below also create a financial impact.

#GivingPack Hashtag Match Challenge Champion — $2,500

But wait — there’s more! The college, program or fund with the most tags in eligible tweets when the challenge threshold is reached or when Day of Giving is over will also win an additional $2,500.

Overall Largest Gift Challenge – $1,500

For this challenge, we’re looking for the gift that stands out from all the rest. The person who makes the largest gift by the end of the day on March 24 will earn their preferred college, program or fund an extra $1,500.

Farthest Distance Challenge – $1,500

It’s the Day of Giving heard ’round the world! The person who makes the gift from a location farthest away from campus will win their chosen college, program or fund an additional $1,500.

Rules

All times listed are Eastern Daylight Time. Only gifts made via the dayofgiving.ncsu.edu website on March 24, 2021, are eligible for challenges. Social media challenges are limited to the listed platforms and must include #GivingPack and the unit @ handle.
